Whether you have just a lyric idea, a melody, or a riff, my remote done-for-you production service means you get your song idea turned into a professional level track that will stand the test of time and put you on the map.

Here’s How I Can Help

If you have an idea for a song, I’ll help you turn it into a full fledged professional level track by handling all the technical processes along the way.

Songwriting Help

I will help you finish writing or refine what’s already been written for your song to help solidify a firm foundation.

Musical Arrangement

Once your song is written, I’ll  arrange all the other instrumentation necessary to fit the song and set it up for greatness.

Recording

I record myself playing various instruments, as well as studio musicians for specialized parts when needed.

Mastering

This is the last stage putting the final sonic touches to the song to get it ready for streaming and other distrobution in its final form.

The Process

STEP ONE

Launch Call

We get on a 1-on-1 Zoom call to discuss anything about your song that we need to address before starting. This is so we both are on the same page about the song moving forward.

STEP TWO

Preproduction

In this stage, I will help you finish writing your lyrics, melody idea or riff, or if you’ve already finished writing I’ll help refine what’s written to make sure it has the best foundation it can have and still fit your vision for the song.

STEP THREE

Tracking

I will record the parts needed in the musical arrangement in my studio, with world-class session musicians for specialized parts when needed to make sure we get the absolute best recordings for your song.

STEP FOUR

Mixing

Mixing is how sound engineers turn raw recordings into polished songs.  Once I get it sounding good and finished, I’ll send it to you to get feedback from you and make sure it’s good to go for the final stage.

STEP FIVE

Mastering

Mastering is the final tweak to get it ready for streaming or other kinds of listening/distribution. I’ll get feedback from you, then once you're happy with it and approve it, it’s finished!

You deserve your song idea to maximize its potential and rival the big names.

Hey, I’m Brandon Mosley, founder of Megatonic Audio. 👋

I’ve been digging into music production for 16 years now. I’ve learned the tricks of the trade, many of them from top-level engineers and producers at Blackbird and Sputnik Sound in Nashville.

Over time through hard work and zeal, I accumulated the skill and knowledge it takes to bring a song into fruition and make it the best it can be.

But I started where you are…

I had the passion and deep desire to turn my song idea into a final product that sounds professional, but I had no clue where to begin…

How do I know if my song is finished being written?

Is my song too long or short?

What should all the other instruments be playing?

What microphones are the right ones for this?

Which instrument should I use here?

Where do I record everything?

Why does my recording not sound good enough?

Where do I find the right musician to play this part?

Even if I get it recorded, how do I get it to actually sound good?

What is a DAW, and how do I know which one to use?

What even is mastering?

Etc., etc.

I learned those lessons and more so you don’t have to worry about any of that.

I’ll take care of the production process for you. I even help with refining the bones of your song in the songwriting stage, and I can also help you finish writing if it isn’t already.

Leave the rest to me, and I’ll make sure you love your song in its immortalized final form standing the test of time.

Simple as that.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Some of my most frequently-asked-questions:

Q. What if I don't want my voice or instrument to be on the final version of the song?

No problem! I can get session musicians and vocalists tailored to your song’s style to perform those parts when needed.

Q. What if I do want my voice or instrument to be on the final version of the song, but I don’t have recording equipment or know how to use it?

I can send you a recording kit with all the gear you’ll need, as well as a walk-through tutorial video of me showing you how to set it up and use it. If you have any questions about it after watching the walk-through video, you can book a call with me to explain further when needed.

Q. What is your revision policy?

For each stage in the process (pre-production, tracking, mixing, and mastering) 2 free revision sessions are included. That doesn’t mean you can only change 2 things in each stage. It means that after listening to what I’ve come up with for your song in a given stage of the process, all the notes you give me on any details you need revised will count as 1 revision session for that stage. I will then come back to you with the revised version of the song in that stage for approval. If you then change your mind about things or want more things revised that weren’t listed in the first set of revision notes, I will do a second revision session for free.

Q. How long does this whole process usually take?

Communication timing causes this to vary some. The quicker you are with your communications with me on feedback and revisions, the quicker your song gets done.

Q. What do I need to have/do/finish before I can hire you?

All you need is a tangible idea for your song, whether that’s a lyric line, a melody idea, or a short riff on an instrument. If you can write it down or make a phone recording of the idea, that’s all you need. You could even be far to the other side of the spectrum and have fully written lyrics and chord progressions finished.

Q. What’s your typical  response time?

For text based responses (email, messengers, phone text) I answer within 24 hours on weekdays. If you prefer to speak over a phone or Zoom call, I will have to book a specific time to speak with you, and I will confirm that time over text based communication beforehand.

Q. What will MY time commitment be for this?

If you record your own voice, you will have to take that time into account. Otherwise, all you need to do is take the time to brainstorm your vision for what direction you want your song to go in, and listen to what I bring back to you for feedback. I will listen to your vision and feedback for each stage of the song to make sure it is in line with what you want.

Q. Who owns the rights to the song?

You will retain full ownership of your song and all the rights to it. We will go over a contract that specifies our agreement on rights, royalties, and distribution, so there’s full clarity from the beginning.

Q. What are your prices?

I price my services based on what is required per-project to make sure your unique needs are met. The best way to get an accurate quote is to book a call with me below so that I can see exactly the scope of what you need done.
